I believe in farther thriftmas

It will soon be Christmas,  lots of people getting the Hot new systems on offer or not as the case my be, This kind of thing happens every time there is a new generation of hardware, Making out they haven't made enough Xbones and PS4's, Then right near Xmas all the stores some how magically get restocked By the point everyone has given up trying to buy one. 

This happened when I worked at Game-station on the launch of the ps2 slim everyone wanted one, we had no stock for weeks then Loads turned up on the 23rd of December, But before you go mad and buy one off Ebay for £700, Check CEX £520 on PS4 and £550 on xbone and most stores seem to have them in stock.

Its a Rare occasion when I am willing to go out and pay top dollar on a game on the day of release, Because I have been championing Wii U and Nintendo I felt like voting with my wallet and getting 3D worlds on day one, So I just want to go to a shop and buy the game how hard can that be? The photo above is outside GAME The first video game outlet I came across that day, So I am like, OK its going to be a £39.99 job most places so I will pick it up from there, Nope, They had not had any delivered, Fair cop something when wrong with your ordering no sweat.



"Does the other GAME have them?" 
"Yeah the other store will have it you should go there"
 So I headed to the other GAME in town, Same thing no stock, I am 1 out of 3 people in the whole of Hull that I know of that Has a Wii U, I hardly ever buy a new game or shop in main high street store, The one time I do I can't even give them my money? 
Same happened at Tesco that day too, I ended up buying it from Argos of all places, £5 more because you get to wait for it to be revealed like a price on a quiz show, See Tesco Just checked all the other stores and let me Know there was a problem, But game just sent me on a wild goose chase! my Rant over with then lets check out some pick ups.

Traded and cash my Vita the other day I got £56 cash on the console and £45 Trade for some games and the memory card, I Added Tales of Graces f and Tales of eternia to my Retirement Fund. Best time is right now to cut a deal on the RPGs from last gen that will sky rocket in price later on.

This was over priced at £4.99 then I notice it was Japanese, Still worth about the same as a pal copy of the game but pretty cool to have a Japanese DS game in the collection so I picked this up Japanese DS games don't turn up every day.

One more Great feature of the Wii u is the Upscaling Action because even tho the Wii games it plays are not HD, It looks so much better going though a HDMI on the wii you, And Wii games are dirty cheap right now Trauma Center New Blood £1.99.

 Random Item goes to this Wrestle Mania VHS box set 1-15, This is what you get for Drinking Vodka red bull all night you wake up the next day still pissed but with the energy to go thrifting, Then later on you sober up a bit and realize what you have bought, Recommended.

Kengo Zero, The kengo series Seemed to be a staple of the launch line up the passed two gens, this realistic samurai fighting game is always cheap but 25p in a charity shop I picked it up.

Sim 2 on P.C for £1 at that price its totally worth it the PC version of the game still get you CEX cash £2 and Trade £4 so make £1 or £3 on the trade.

Grand Theft auto San Andreas going down to the lowest cash and trade on cex £1.60 cash or £2 trade, about £5 on a good day on eBay now too, The PC and Xbox version are still good for resale.

God of war Chains of Olympus, For £1, There are better version of this game now to on there HD on PS3, But £1 is a steal, About £5 everywhere else.

above is a few choice editions to the RPGs/Rare collection, There is a whole bunch of PS3 games that if you see under £10 are worth picking up, Worst case they will hold there value at about £10 and  most of them will go up in value.

A few titles to keep an eye out for in the coming year as more PS4 and Xbone games go on the shelf the more the price will come down on PS3 stock as a whole so lots of these will slip through Pre-owned at about £7.99 and £5.99 if your lucky, A lot of places like cash converters and cash Generator price there stock on how long the item has been released and how long it has been sat on the shelf so you have a good chance of finding a few of these games cheap.
